I realize that I feature a lot of Doctor Who and Batman stuff here, because that is what I like. And despite the fact that this etsy seller has a lot of Doctor Who and Batman clocks, I am chosing to feature this Superman clock. Don't say I don't care about the other geeks. Beaded "Fish Roe" Nails For Cheap - Tutorial

Sephora is selling nail polish sets with microbeads for $25 that gives you a "fish roe" look on your nails.  I've been admiring them since I first saw them but wasn't ready to spend the big bucks since there were mixed reviews about the beads falling off pretty quickly.  Well, I stumbled upon a great tutorial on how to make your own for way less, and you can customize the colors.  You just need Recollections microbeads found at any Michael's craft store and sells for only $3.99 a color - yay!  Oh, and you'll need nail polish of course.  To read the tutorial, visit The PolishAholic here.

The Chork

The Chork is chopsticks on one end and a fork on the other - how brilliant! If you snap the chopsticks together, it's a nice tool for beginners, or if you prefer to be the master of your stix, you can snap them apart for greater control. They are disposable but reusable. Get Lucky Man Soap

You want to know the honest reason why soap makes a great gift, even if a dude isn't a "fancy products" sort of guy. Soap does not last. Soap takes up very little space. But I don't want to sell this soap short. It can be hard to pick a fragrance for someone else, but this awesomeness is described as "unisex to masculine" and as a "complex blend with a breath of citrus top notes on a base of earthy lavender, pine and woodsy/earthy notes including sandalwood, moss and cedar." Which basically means, that if he doesn't like it, you get to use it. So, someone is almost always going to win with soap. But I am pretty sure he's going to like this one. I was browsing men's rings and saw a lot of fun geeky stuff, but then I ran across this simple and clever baseball band and thought..cool. And heck, I don't even like baseball. But if you've got a baseball lover in your life, this might make a nifty gift. It's pretty understated, but still recognizable. Chocolatemint Water

I was at the grocery store when I saw Metromint Chocolatemint Water .  I was like, What?  That will either be super good or super nasty.  Being the taste daredevil that I am when it comes to anything chocolatey, I picked up a bottle - and I'm so glad that I did!  It's water, so it's flat not sparkling, and the chocolate mint taste reminded me of a York peppermint patty or an Andes mint, but without any sweetness.  I really enjoyed it!  Now, I'm not sure i this will help with sweet cravings but it was definitely a new drink experience.  No calories, no artificial sweetners and no preservatives. Simply all natural chocolate mint water - just the way nature intended (ha!).  Pick it up at your local grocery store or a 12-pack for $20.91 at Amazon.  Other flavors available, too (I'm intrigued by the peppermint!)
