This company has a really interesting concept. They make earbuds and headphones from wood, because they say wood has better resonance than plastic, which makes total sense. They also source their wood from scraps left over from furniture makers, so they are more envionmentally friendly. AND, and this is where is gets good, for every pair of headphones or earbuds sold, they donate a hearing aid (including fitting, and training) to one person in need. In fact, because malaria is one of the major causes of deafness, they provide mosquito nets as well. It's really a win/win sort of thing. Check them out. These cherry earbuds are only $45 at LSTN.
