I fear that some rare birds may find this particular product a little on the crude side, so avert your eyes now if you are a delicate flower. On the other hand, almost anyone who has ever lived with a *ahem* gentleman, knows how important his "guys" are to him. Help him express his feelings with this powder. I can not speak to the healthfulness or usefullness of this product as I have no "guys" of my own. But I am pretty sure a few fellas I know will be getting this for Christmas and I'll let you know what they think. At the very least, it makes for a fun stocking stuffer. $8 at Bubble Genius.

What Is This Mad Obsession With Freedom?

You have no idea how terrifying I find the Red Skull. To me, he is just one of the scariest looking things in comics, and this from a girl who loves skulls in almost every other context. Maybe it's his Nazi ways, or maybe it's just that...red...skull...Still this is an interesting and kind of "fun" print...if you don't find him terrifying, that is. $14.99 for a mini print on Society 6.

Plush Planarian - Brown Spotted Flatworm

Anyone who actually attended biology class in high school may remember this wee beastie. I am pretty sure I had to dissect or diagram one at some point. I'm also pretty sure that the one I had to work on was not so plush or adorable. So, you see, this one makes a much better gift than that other one. And he's only $12. So, Barnabas Clothing has a misson statement of sorts, and I guess this tee sums it up quite nicely. To quote them directly, they aim "To be people of encouragement in every aspect of our lives - with what we say, what we do and even with the clothes we wear." The other day I was pointed to this etsy store by a blog (and I apologize for not remembering which blog) and immediately became smitten with this happy wire art. It might be a little too whimsical for a grown up "cool guy thing" but it would certainly be awesome in a young cool guy's room. Or in mine. This dachshund is only $25 at WireDreams.

I had a really good time flipping through this book, Jellymongers: Glow-in-the-Dark Jelly, Titanic Jelly, Flaming Jelly .  It takes gelatin and make it into an art.  My favorite was an edible glow-in-the-dark gelatin (turn on the black lights - wow your friends!).  Amazon doesn't have a "look inside" for this book, but definitely worth checking out the next time you're at your local bookshop - the book is really awesome!  $12.88 at Amazon

Metamorphic Gear Upcycled Sail Messenger Bag

I like the lines of this messenger bag. Each one is different as they are made from recycled sailboat sails, truck tarps, seat belts, and parachutes. It's the curve of the front flap that caught my eye but it looks like it's just the right size for your laptop and a few extras.
