I agree, this is one of the more irresponsible posts I've seen on RBF. Bad enough that we are avid consumers and only a fraction of what is featured here is re-used/cycled, but this is overboard.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care about the environment? I think this is marvellous.

I say NO, this is NOT a good thing to list on Rare Bird Finds!
Now someone wants us to buy throwaway plastic stuff for our DOG'S meals? Whoa! Even if these liners are made from an "eco-friendly" substance, why contribute more waste to the planet? One can and SHOULD wash a dog's water and food bowls EVERY DAY with hot water and soap to kill bacteria!
To whomever likes these, I think, "What a lazy bunch of slobs those people must be!"

Why spent my hard earned cash on these things if I can wash the bowl after every feed? Rubbish, indeed. Jeesh, indeed!

I have to disagree with the other comments - this has nothing to with disregarding our environment at all! You can wash the bowls in-between feedings, and eliminate germs. You don't have to throw them away after each feeding! Jeesh!

Eh? You do know that it is possible to wash the bowl on a daily basis, don't you? This is just as environmentally friendly as wrapping disposaple nappies individually in plastic... Absolute rubbish!

Whole heartedly agree with the other posters here ... this just seems grossly irresponsible.
My dog eats from a clean bowl everyday - for the whole minute and a half that the food actually stays in there. This is just a horrible horrible waste - literally. Ilove this blog, but am not loving this product.

Agreed with Elle--is there any more frivolous way to be horrible to the environment?
