I am intrigued by these Laundry Dropps. No mess and no huge jug is a plus in my book. Has anyone tried them? Leave us a comment if you have! $22.46 at Amazon (for 60 loads worth)
Update: I had the same thought about packaging as some of the comments here. The website has a little more info here

No bargin they don't get your clothes very clean especially if they are heavily soiled. They claim you need not use fabric softner. But, if you don't No softening and lots of static cling if you dry in the dryer. They smell orangey thats about all I can say for them. You might be getting "20" packets but it will only do 10 regular loads of laundry. One packet is meant for handwashing or very small loads. They tell you to pre-treat stains which should be the big sign it is not an effective cleaner.

The price is really very reasonable for this product. The packaging looks a little too much like candy though if you have kids in the house.

I use dropps and I can tell you they use a lot less packaging. The pouch they come in completely flattens instead of that honking jug that takes up space and the lid has to be thrown out. I think a single piece of packaging is more efficient to produce, plus, for some reason I think everything is made in America. I have been super happy with how they clean and can feel the difference, especially on my jeans and towels.

I'm wondering if the actual detergent is better for the environment but i don't see how all that plastic wrapping can be better after all the production and nasty footprints (every step from making, shipping etc.)
please post if you find anything out..and has anyone done the math, whats cheaper?

Are they better for the environment? The first thing I noticed is that it looks like a lot more packaging than a single jug. Especially since the jugs now are getting smaller and more concentrated. The jugs are recyclable too, no? This does look pretty convenient though :D

I just started using these and so far I can't see any difference from using regular detergent except that they're more convenient and better for the environment.
