I am such a California girl. I love the (lack of) weather, the diverseness and most of all the ocean. I have sworn that I will never move more than an hour away from the ocean. In a chocolate fight between Godiva and Betsy Ann truffles, Betsy Ann is the winner. Betsy Ann's paras truffles (I love the American Originals pictured above) is a Pennsylvania secret. It makes my mouth water just thinking about them, and although I now live in CA, I order them online and have them shipped to me. The other resident designer is NY artist Keren Richter, whose work is just as twisted as Shear's, but less gothic and more folksy.
