I love the simplicity and beauty of this T-shirt design of a songbird on a flower. Organic T-shirt with environmental friendly ink. Also available in earth coal and dark blue. $26 at Uzura
For the ladies who love them their Charles Bukowski, here's a pretty nifty T-shirt featuring the writer and the words, "These words I write keep me from total madness." $17 at Zen Thread

Normally I feature a single T-shirt from a site, but when I stumbled upon a shop called Circles and Squares, I just couldn't pick just one! I love, love the T-shirt of the girl escaping from wolves via a bird, a child taking flight from a playground swing, and a boy pushing a cart of teeter-tottering stack of bird cages. $20 at Circles and Squares
B-movie posters can be so cheesy and funny. These T-shirts poke fun at those posters without losing any of the style or humor. The Holy Rollers T-shirt is my fave. $20 and up at Retro Whale
Cute T-shirt for those black sheeps. Love the detail of the sheep as the black cloud over the girl's head. Comes in a multiple of colors. $25 at Redbubble
I'm aghast when I meet someone who says they don't read. Not that they're illiterate, but that they just don't have time for books. No time for books?! GASP! I always have time for books, and I am delighted that artist Edward Gorey felt the say way. On the site, Gorey Details, there are plenty of T-shirts that promote reading - yay!
In 1895, Wilhelm Röntgen produced and detected electromagnetic radiation or rather what's become known as x-rays. He won the first Nobel prize in physics in 1901 because of it. This x-ray Hand mit Ringen ("hand with ring") T-shirt features an x-ray of Röntgen's wife and her rings. I think it's a pretty awesome looking design. The shirt comes in a variety of colors and hand positions. $36 at James Anthony Apparel
