What do you make or design?
Custom blend gourmet loose teas.
What made you decide to design the things that you do?
I started out just making some holiday gifts one year for friends, and found I really enjoyed blending herbs and teas. I kept pushing further into the world of teas and was amazed by what I had found. The love affair just keeps on boiling.
Who inspires you?
My husband, Oprah and the earth (that narrows it down doesn't it?)
How would you describe yourself?
Laid back, funny, creative and determined.
What’s the last book you read?
A Girl's Guide to Vampires and Raising Capital.
Are you a neat freak or creatively messy?
Creatively messy.
What is one of your fondest memories?
Traveling around Europe by myself. And watching the sun rise above the Mediterranean sea like a huge dripping molten fire. Totally awe inspiring.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Bad tea.
If you could be a bird, what kind of bird would you be and why?
A red-shafted flicker. We have lots of these beautiful birds around our home. They are really beautiful, but mostly on the "inside." From the outside, they seem somewhat ordinary, but when they spread their wings and fly, they reveal that their wing and tail linings are a salmon red color. Sometimes I feel like I am an average everyday woodpecker, then when I come out of my nest, I really shine! Besides who wouldn't want to say wick wick wick wick wick whenever you wanted?
i love these teas. i've gotten them a few times for friends who have also - not surprisingly - loved them. definitely sign up for hte newsletter bc there are lots of updates on sales, new products, etc.
